Raiding Le Creuset

After we checked out of our hotel on Sunday, we headed to the outlets in Vacaville (about 30 minutes away). One of the main reasons we went to this particular outlet mall was because of the store above. Le Creuset. Swoon.

And it was beautiful. Everything I hoped it would be.

While we were there, a couple was discussing Julie and Julia with the sales clerk. They were saying that they tried to buy Mastering the Art of French Cooking, but it was sold out everywhere. They bought a dutch oven just to make Julia's beef bourguignon. The day before, we were able to witness that this is happening everywhere. We were at a book store and someone was trying to buy Mastering, but it was sold out and apparently had been for awhile. Someone put my copy on hold from the library, so I had to return it. Sigh.

Okay, enough pictures of dutch ovens. Here is the rest of the store. Look at those cute little veggie-shaped pots in the front of the picture. John hated them. I suppose we have to disagree on some things.

Don't worry, I'll update you on ALL the things we bought there soon.

  1. Did someone decide to be silly and really call a city "cow-town" in Spanglish?
