A Great Start

We started off our Napa vacation right - with a trip to Chick-fil-A! Chick-fil-As are few and far between in the Bay Area, and probably on the West Coast in general. This really breaks our hearts. John is especially obsessed with this place, and once I had to live without it, I realized how much I missed it too.

Two big ole cups of sweet tea. This is something I really miss about being out here. I occasionally stop by McDonald's just to get it. Sad, I know.

This is what we drove an extra hour for! Yum! Good ole waffle fries and chicken nuggets. And yes, we really went out of our way to go to Chick-fil-A. We had to go to some random mall in the middle of nowhere for this. Totally worth it!

John was taking a picture, but I couldn't help sneaking some fries. mmmmmmm.

I also ordered a side of cole slaw because I'm fond of the stuff. Theirs is good, but I take issue with how small they chop the cabbage. Oh well - it's still the best slaw I've had in ages.

This was the perfect way to start off our awesome vacation. I promise to post more on the actual Napa part of the trip soon!
