I'm hosting a Christmas dinner party tonight for 10 people - by far the largest group of people I've ever cooked for before. I've spent all week preparing, and I can't wait! Obviously I went a little nuts at the craft store and got place cards. Ten people at our dinner table will be a very tight fit, but I just couldn't bring myself to break out a card table. Blech. I've got a playlist on my iPod ready, 20 cloves of peeled garlic, and almonds in a pretty bowl. Now it's time to get cooking!
