kathy--these are all so cute! i was actually meaning to ask you for your opinion on an xmas gift for myself. i know you, among others, are big fans of ina garten's cookbooks, and i was going to ask for one for xmas. i was wondering if there was one in particular you would recommend as the best of hers with which to start.

Laura - really any of Ina's cookbooks are great. I would probably most recommend her recent book - Back to Basics - because it would be useful for all occasions. Also, if I recall correctly, not all of her cookbooks have a picture for each recipe, but Back to Basics does. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteNigella Lawson was one of my first boyhood crushes second only to Larisa Oleynik from "The Secret World of Alex Mack".
ReplyDeleteLOVE the list! I am especially fond of the Darcy mug :) And the rolling pin! love love. I must get a gift list together for my bloggie...
ReplyDeletep.s. I don't actually like donuts. Do you hate me?
ReplyDeletethanks, kathy! it is being emailed to my parents shortly!

Okay........so I have been trying to find the Anthropologie Scandanavian Rolling Pin ("Cutest Rolling Pin Ever") for months and months now, ever since I saw it in a magazine. The day I got my magazine in the mail (before it hits the stands) I called Anthropologie to order. Not a single Anthropologie store in the USA had one.....everyone said it was an item they only had 1 or 2 of, long before I ever called about it and sold the 1 or 2 they had. ANYBODY have any ideas on where I can find this item?
ReplyDeleteI think the rolling pin is sold out. It was in stock when I posted this in December, but it must be long gone now. Perhaps try eBay?
