Yes, that Kitchen Aid mixer is in MY house. Thanks to the hubby, I no longer feel inadequate. He got it for me for my birthday, and I can't wait to try it out. I may have specifically requested the 6 quart version instead of the 5 quart version since clearly 5 quarts isn't enough. It's actually blue instead of grey like it looks in this picture. I haven't been home during daylight to take a picture of the color better. (So sad.)
Along with many other presents, my mom got me the Better Homes & Gardens New Cookbook. We all know I'm a sucker for a good cookbook, and I especially like having the more comprehensive and basic ones on hand for when I need them. Perhaps I can find a recipe in my new cookbook that requires me to use my new stand mixer! My life is now complete.
Oh and he did the crank up and down one, rather than the tilty head. SOO much better. CONGRATULATIONS!
